Italian Shaping Life partner, CEIPES, started the testing phase in its office space in Palermo. This project phase is testing the “Intervention program for healthy lifestyles” with adults from over eighteen to an elderly age. CEIPES has involved young adults from the Palermo school “Ninni Cassarà”, tackling topics such as burnout, depression, anxiety, parenting and career planning.

The topics are covered through a series of activities the participants have to carry out individually and in groups. The individual part allows reflection time and the group activities help find conclusions and share different points of view. The idea behind the intervention program is to give adults tools to understand better themselves, create daily habits and gain new tools to cope better with triggering situations, and symptoms of disease or discomfort.

All partners are now involved in the testing phase until December. In January, the project partners will be busy analyzing data from the sessions and the impact of the program on participants. The project will come successfully to an end when the over 450 people involved in the program will positively influence one person close to their life to accept the change.
